Bible Translation from the Heart

Today, about 1 billion people still have no access to a Bible in their heart language…the language they think in and dream in. It is their language of deepest understanding. This is Bible poverty.

There is a global movement whose goal is to eradicate Bible poverty. The Aquifer, a strategic part of that mission, accelerates the availability of Biblical resources to the global church through openly-licensed content, unrestricted and freely available. Biblical resources can be translated from many gateway languages into many more heart languages.

Originally envisioned by the ETEN Innovation Lab, software and content experts at BiblioNexus began building the Aquifer in mid-2023 and it has been growing ever since. Software developers are actively tapping the Aquifer in order to power their applications, and will continue to add content in many gateway languages that can be used by the global church, “filling the Aquifer” as fast as donations allow.
